Yankees have been rumored to have been linked to Hyo Jun Park for quite some time. Kiley McDaniel had the 2 linked as early as February if not earlier. Park will be in minority of Non-Dominicans to command 7 figures. Recently Park's father confirmed to a media source that Hyo-Jun & the Yankees have come to terms in the ballpark of $1.1 M. Not to shabby if I say so myself. Park's father has also stated that the Yankees will provide a translator to to help with the transition to the states. McDaniel reported back in February that Park has been training out in California earlier this week. Nothing is official and cannot be official until the July 2 start date. I hope to catch Hy0 Jun Park later this summer in GCL in not to distant Tampa.
